Pneumatic cylinder / rodless / magnetically-coupled
ø 16 - 25 mm, 2 - 7 bar
Magnetic-slide rodless pneumatic cylinders are fitted with both a piston and slide with magnets, which runs along the liner mimicking the piston movements. This operation increases efficiency and productivity, but if the axial force exceeds the coupling magnetic force then the slide disengages, and as result it is important to ensure that the device is operated using the pressure, force and speed ranges as detailed in the catalog.
The load of this cylinder is secured to the slide through four threaded holes, while a number of brackets, flanges and nuts keep the ends of the cylinder in place. Although this solution is ideal when assembly space is limited, it will not operate if air leaks are present or impurities can access the device through entry. This device is available with three different bore sizes of ø16-20-25, in both basic and swinging versions and with either an adjustable pneumatic cushioning or non-adjustable cushioning.
Please note this device has been designed specifically for use with magnetic sensors.
