Metso's high gradient magnetic filters, HGMF, recover ferro-magnetic and para-magnetic materials from slurries and waste waters. The filters are designed around the unique magnetic system providing magnetic fields up to 2T (20 000 Gauss).
The Metso HGMF High Gradient Magnetic Filter provides proven highest efficiency in removing iron and copper corrosion particles from boiler condensate. The HGMF maintains this efficiency even during heavily contaminated flows and with varying flowrates.

The HGMF is suitable for:

* Increasing plant thermal efficiency by processing hot condensates from high pressure boilers.
* Removing high levels of iron and copper particulates from boiler condensates during startups and upset conditions.
