This software is used for the programming of the modules of miControl®. Into the mPLC Entwicklungsumgebung is used the script language Python.
Script languages such as Python have many advantages, which endorse their employment, e.g.:
- Omission of the otherwise necessary translation of the source code and thus shortened iteration times
- already less qualified personnel is sufficient, in order to program the systems
- easier comprehensibility by better separation of the system logic from the other software components
- Parts of the scripts can be already tried out in the interpreter in simplest way, before the hardware of the system is available
- Effect of setting a script instruction off can be observed and controlled immediately - without compiling and renewed raising of the system
