Oriel Multi-branch Fiber Optic Bundles

These multi-branch fiber bundles have one common end and either two or three legs. They make inexpensive and simple beam splitters or combiners. All ends are terminated with standard Oriel 11 mm ferrules.

Oriel Multi-track Fiber Bundles

These 79 inch (2 m) long multi-track fiber bundles bring 260 to 2200 nm radiation to an imaging spectrograph from multiple sources, for simultaneous dispersion over a 2-D multichannel detector such as our InstaSpec® Detectors. Note, these are not for use with our LineSpec® or OSM CCDs, as they are linear CCDs.

Oriel Rectangular to Circular Fiber Optic Bundles

These fiber bundles have one circular and one rectangular end. Use them to carry light from a light source to a monochromator or spectrograph, or from a monochromator to a detector or sample. The rectangular end is used to replace the instrument's input slit. The circular end has an 11 mm Oriel ferrule. We offer two sizes of rectangle; we call them Small Slit and Large Slit.

Oriel Single Branch Fiber Optic Bundles

For broadband transmittance from the UV (>260 nm) to the NIR, these bundles are the smart choice. They have a broader spectral range than liquid light guides and significantly higher throughput (for large sources) than single fibers. For transmittance down to 190 nm, we offer Solarization Resistant Large Core Single Fibers, which do not suffer from the solarization problems that plague the fused silica fibers described here.
