The sensor is attached to the outside of the damper when using magnetic inductive sensors for the load detection for tubs of washing machines. An integrated magnet provides the necessary displacement information about the lowering of the tub. In addition to the high resolution, the method also provides very high dynamics which is why the imbalance during the spinning process can also be measured. The low-cost MDS sensor in this version provides a PWM signal at the output. The sensor can be attached to the damper or to the drum itself. The sensor can easily be adapted to customer requirements for OEM.
