Compression fittings are designed for low pressure applications using all types of tubing. Nylon compression fittings are corrosion reisitant and have good electrical insulating properties that virtually eliminate any electrical action that could result in corrosion when dissimilar metal meets the fitting. Plastic compression fittings demonstrate an ability to absorb acoustic and mechanical vibration thereby extending their useful life in many applications. Fewer components translate into lower cost and easier assembly.
