Micromeritics Elzone II 5390 Particle and Cell Size & Count Analyzer – Combining Modern Technology with a Proven Method


Unlike other measurement techniques, the electrical sensing zone method is capable of accurately sizing and counting samples of varying optical properties, densities, colors, and shapes. Micromeritics’ new Elzone® II 5390 particle size analyzer utilizes this powerful particle characterization technique to determine quickly and accurately the size, number, concentration, and mass of a wide variety Biological and Industrial materials. Automated features include: start-up, run and shut-down routines; blockage detection and clearing; flushing/rinsing; and calibration. The Elzone determines particle / cell size in a range suitable for a wide variety of industrial and biological specimens down to 0.4 µm. A high level of accuracy and resolution, speed, ease of use, and its compact size make the Elzone equally suitable for industry, quality control, and research and development laboratories.


Extensive statistical analysis features are included. In addition, optional Confirm™ 21 CFR Part 11 software assists with compliance to FDA regulations. Combined with Micromeritics' IQ and OQ services, the user can be assured that the Elzone system is validated for accuracy, reliability, consistent intended performance, and provides safeguards to protect the integrity of analysis records.
