The Micromeritics DVVA 4000 is a state-of-the-art dynamic void volume analyzer capable of measuring the compressed void volume and density of powders and other materials with exceptional precision and ac curacy.

This instrument can be used to predict the optimal polymer/carbon black ratios in polymer-reinforcing materials, providing an automated alternative to the oil absorption test, while satisfying the requirements of ASTM D6086 test method.

Pharmaceutical powders, resins, rigid foams and non-woven fiber mats are examples of manufactured materials having secondary characteristics directly related to void volume.
