Micronic offers a comprehensive range of noncoded, alphanumeric and two 2D bar coded tube ranges in a range of materials, sizes, bottom profiles and a choice of sealing arrangements to cater for all sample types and sample storage requirements. The standard product range includes 0.5 ml, 0.65 ml, 1.1ml and 1.4 ml tube volumes. The 0.65 ml and 1.4 ml tubes are available in all coding formats. The 0.5 ml and1.1 ml tubes are offered with special screw top closure enabling secure sample storage even at cryogenic temperatures. Incorporating a novel ‘single turn’ screw cap mechanism ensures that accessing and securing samples is a simple and rapid process. With a unique 2D code on the bottom of each tube the screw top range provides an easy and unambiguous means of storing and identifying samples. The internal V-shape of each screw top tube ensures the lowest possible dead volume and maximum sample recovery. Designed to fit 96 individual tubes into a standard Micronic Lobo rack optimises use of valuable freezer storage space. Available in a choice of 6 different colour screw caps the 0.5 and 1.1 ml screw top tube range allows quick visual determination of sample origin.
