The SG-Link® -mXRS is a wireless strain node, manufactured by LORD MicroStrain®. The device features a complete strain gauge signal conditioning, installed processing, wireless communications, and precision timekeeping. SG-Link® -mXRS wireless nodes perform within a quick, synchronized, expandable network of wireless sensor nodes, placed up to 1 km from the WSDA® -Base. The node is composed of an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery and measure strain, torque, load, pressure and magnetic fields via a connector to user-provided bridge sensors. At the heart of MicroStrain's expandable range synchronized or mXRS™ system is the WSDA® -Base, utilizing the original beaconing protocols, in order to sync precision timekeepers installed within every sensor node in the network. The WSDA® -Base also integrates data collection from all sensor nodes, including SG-LINK® -mXRS.
