The universal MTM180 series of mechanical seals features lower axial dimensions, making it an excellent alternative to all existing mechanical seals. It's unique geometry permits simple and easy installation, while it's strength offers exceptional performance. This highly compact series includes a wide selection of stationary rings and materials, suitable for a wide range of applications and installations and is capable of withstanding operating pressures of up to 64 bar (929 psi). These highly advanced units are also available in customized versions, designed for pressures higher than 120 bar. Additionally, the sliding faces create exceptionally low friction, with near zero absorption, thanks to the FEM analysis.
