The MW 11 anemometer and MW 12 wind vane are the highest performance models in the Mierij Meteo wind sensor range. They use a digital optical measuring principle and are protected against inductive interference and static discharge. The anemometer wind cups and the wind vane flag are larger than usual and are counterbalanced for accuracy. MW 11 and MW 12 have digital outputs with line drivers for long cables up to 1000m. They feature a high quality connector for easy installation. The sensors are ideal for use in automatic weather stations, meteorological networks and offshore installations.
