The Miniature UPL Series is Mikrotools' new series of Ultra-Precision Lathes that are capable of nano-surface finishes required in ultra-high precision components. The UPL-4040 features a small workspace of 40mm by 40mm, making it extremely cost effective and suitable for the fabrication of miniature ultra-precision components, e.g. inserts for micro-lens.
