Description
MST Global’s (MST) IMPACT Wireless Access Point (WAP) has been specifically designed for ease of deployment in
a mine environment. With a single Wi-Fi radio, housed in a rugged IP66 case, these units can be attached directly
onto the walls or back/roof of a mine for both temporary and permanent extension of the wireless network. Its high
bandwidth and low latency design enables multi-service applications to share the network infrastructure. This
facilitates functionality such as VoIP, IP video streaming, remote PLC programming, mobile data acquisition, realtime
vehicle diagnostics and asset/personnel tracking.
