The TR-series rotating tables are available in two dimensions and capacity and are designed for high precision milling, boring, contouring and turning of large items. The main technical features are the following: The BASE FRAME, made of electro-welded high tensile steel subject to stress release heat treatment, is designed and dimensioned so to equally distribute the load of the thrust bearing. The ROTATING TABLE as well is fabricated with high tensile steel plates subject to stress release heat treatment and is available in two different models, in accordance with final user's necessity. Table top is equipped with "T" grooves which enable fixing of workpieces or equipment. The rotating table is assembled on two heavy duty footstep bearings, foreseen to bear axial thrusts and lubricated by a suitable oil circulation circuit. The CENTRAL SHAFT is made of 18 Ni Cr Mo 5 forged steel, duly tempered and finished. It is assembled on a large-sized radial bearing. Input ROTATION movement is given by a d.c. spindle motor and an oil bath reducer, featuring two speed ranges, with a double pinion kinematics with automatic play recovery, according to the final use of the table as a divider or as a vertical lathe. The table is equipped with an hydraulic LOCKING DEVICE that fixes the rotating table to the base frame with such a traction force to grant the best rigidity during machining. Table orientation and rotation are guaranteed by an ENCODER with high resolution level.
