Single lane and double lane toothed belt conveyors On the toothed belt conveyor a toothed belt is used instead of a chain. Very high acceleration forces can be realised using this conveyor, with a very low noise level at the same time. The toothed belt conveyor cannot move around bends, instead it was developed for use on straight transport sections. It is also available as a double lane conveyor, as a consequence access to the transported good or the workpiece carrier from below is possible. This feature permits applications such as stopping, labelling, printing, reading etc. It is therefore optimally suited to usage on assembly lines. Space-saving construction thanks to small idler radii Thanks to its compact construction the toothed belt conveyor, also the double lane conveyor, offers small idler radii at the ends on belt transitions, which saves additional space. It is suitable for transporting bulky goods and is therefore very versatile. It is also possible to transport flat products and production items without problems. The toothed belt conveyor is available with a single lane and double lane.
