The Bi-Injection Molding is a software simulation designed by Moldex3D. It is suitable for applications involving two-colored plastics, automotive lamps, mobile casting, or toothbrush. The software simulation is utilized for multi-component molding processes. It requires low mold costs, ensuring high efficiency on output and a direct process engineering. Two plastic materials are inserted in one mold cavity by two independent gates. The flow will meet in the cavity, which results in different settings. The position of the border line can be defined through flow rate controls.
