Molex's MMCX connectors are micro-miniature connectors designed for applications where densely populated electronic packages demand size and weight limitations while maintaining good RF characteristics. The MMCX connector is designed to function in applications operating up to 6 GHz, offering similar electrical performance to much larger coaxial connector types. The Mechanical stability is maintained via a snap fit interface that uses no slotting in the outer conductor. Typical applications include wireless/PCS devices, telecommunications, GPS receivers, and consumer electronics. For medical MRI applications, non-magnetic versions are available.
