MOFLEX crowned tooth steel gear couplings ensure a torsionally rigid shaft connection designed to accomodate angular, parallel and axial misalignment. This reduces reaction forces on the bearings of the machines connected to the coupling and consequently allows for a better operating reliability.

MOFLEX couplings are produced from normalized steel and machined on CNC machine-tools. MOFLEX couplings are designed for grease lubrication and fitted with standard 'O' ring seals. In short times it is possible to supply special versions adapted to customer's requests. The actual series of MOFLEX couplings has been improved in order to guarantee a better operating reliability. New model codes have been introduced and the following table shows the comparison between the actual and the previous model codes. The CAD designing, the calculation of internal stresses, the total machining using CNC machinetools and an accurate quality control made on 100% of the production guarantee a high reliability of the MOFLEX couplings and constant production characteristics. The manufacturing precision tolerances allow total interchangeability of all standard components.
