Mönninghoff electromagnetically operated multiple disc clutches transmit torque by applying friction via discs with optimum frictional and wearing properties. The special design features of these discs eliminate unfavourable remanence influences. The special split springs of the outer discs allow negligible idling friction and minimal wear. Versions for oil or dry operation, with or without slip ring, are available for torques up to 3,800 Nm.
