Mönninghoff HexaFlex – couplings connect drive shaft and driven shaft similary to an universal joint. Two symetric hubs are connected to each other by flexible element. The flexible element allows the existence of axial, radial and angular misalignments. It dampens torque shocks and harmful torque oscillations. The connection of hub and flexible element is through high tensible screws. Here the forces are transmitted through static friction and there is therefor no wear. HexaFlex-couplings can beassembled easily and in very little time. The flexible element can be fitted and removed without actually moving the hubs.
