Types include ring style variable grip quick release pins & ball style or tee handle quick release pins. Specifications of ring style variable grip quick release pins include pin dia. ranging from 1/4 to 3/4 & grip lengths ranging from 0.6 to 3.1. Ring style variable grip quick release pins feature zinc plated steel materials & stainless steel locking balls.
Diameters are designed to fit normal drilled holes, within commercial tolerances (tight holes should be reamed or deburred). Select grip length that is slightly longer than total thickness of material through which pin will be inserted, I.e. use 1.6 grip length pin for 1 1/2 material thickness. Use 2.1 grip length for 2" thickness material. This provides for maximum safety factor.
