Safety around machinery is of prime importance. With Montech safety device components, it is possible to inhibit access to danger zones by integrating project-specific barriers. The Safety Hood SH encloses four sides of a hazardous area, plus an optional roof. Columns may be fitted with safety interlock switches. For large Safety Hoods, anti-fall locks are available. The Safety Wall SW serves to protect one access point (side). Size and place units around machinery as required. Constructed of standardized components, Montech Safety Devices can be configured for unique requirements such as special hood shapes. Safety issues on machines and production equipment are of central importance. With our components for safety devices, access to danger zones can be prevented by implementing project-specific safety solutions. As a result of the lifting safety devices, optimal accessibility to the processing station in emergency or for maintenance work is guaranteed within seconds. A movable counterweight runs in the interior of the column and is connected to the lifting crossbeam by means of a toothed belt. Consequently, raising and lowering of the movable element requires only a minimum force. The synchronous run of the crossbeams is compounded via a synchronous shaft. The columns are based on our Quick-Set profile system. They can therefore be installed quickly and without problems, on new and existing machines.
