The Moog Wind Turbine Pitch Motor has been specifically designed as part of our Pitch System to meet the demanding requirements for wind turbines. Even in extreme climates, this servomotor maintains high performance while offering a compact design with flexible options. Moog's Pitch Motor is an AC synchronous motor with a unique electromagnetic design built for harsh conditions that is able to offer high performance, additional safety and very low-maintenance. It also meets requirements for reliable performance for onshore and offshore installations with a special 3-layer external coating to achieve corrosion class C5M, robust connector technology and flexibility for retrofitting with either AC or DC mechanical interfaces.
