Description

is available in either stationary or portable models and will peel posts from 3" to 12" in diameter (7.6 cm - 30.5 cm) and 6' to 12' in length (1.8 m - 3.6 m). This productive machine can peel up to 2,000 eight-foot (2.4 m) posts during an eight-hour shift. With optional infeed and outfeed supports, the unit can accommodate longer lengths. The portable version is equipped with an auger and blower for bark disposal. An automatical outfeed is available for stationary units to transfer and index posts onto a transfer chain or bunk. All Morbark post peelers use a split peeling head with carbide-tipped cutterhead teeth to remove bark and knots and planer knives to provide a smooth surface with only one pass through the machine.
