PCI bridge Moschip
PCI & PCI Express Connectivity
Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) is an interconnection system between a microprocessor and attached devices. PCI devices are found in two forms. One, in which the PCI IC is incorporated directly onto a motherboard. This is also known as a planar device. Second, is when the IC is integrated onto an PCI device card that will attach to a PCI slot connected to a motherboard.
MosChip's PCI bridge chips provide OEMs low cost solutions for developing products that bring single and multi-channel Parallel, UART and Serial devices to the market place.
PCI Express (PCI-e) is an interconnection system, based on the PCI standard, between a microprocessor and attached devices for high-speed operation. The electrical and mechanical interfaces of PCI-e are not compatible with the PCI bus interface. This bus also provides a high speed 2.5GBs data rate.
Our family of PCI-e bridge chips will integrate Parallel, Serial and USB 2.0 /3.0 interfaces into scalable devices that OEM designers can bring to market in record times with low overall costs to market
