ROBUS

Robus is the new range of iron helical gearboxes produced by motive, with capacity up to 56Hp with service factor >1,5.
It includes a long list of motivating values:

Versatile:
• Modular design with detachable output flange and foot base
• Various detachable foot bases in solid cast iron make Robus interchangeable with any other gearbox brand

Flexible:
• IEC flange and hollow shaft.
• Unique construction of Robus makes it possible to mount any size in any position. This flexibility is achieved by :
+ ZZ autolubricating bearings on input and output shaft
+ Body design which allows the same quantity of oil to lubricate the gears in any mounting position
+ 6 interchangeable plugs, including one breather plug and a level plug
+ mechanical parts locked in their positions by circlips and spacers.

Reliable:
• high strength case hardened steels 58 ±2 HRC reduce the wear rate in gears.
• All gears are profile ground
• Shafts are made from 42CrMo4 steel and tempered to reach a hardness of 23-35 HRC
• high centers distance of the last stage gear and pinion
• stages ratio between 2 and 6 coupled with a tooth module that is never lower than 0.8
• Dual bearing support on the input shaft
• Intermediate shaft is rigidly supported by 3 bearings
