They are very sturdy and easily mechanically machined and can be painted to the customer's specifications in small numbers. As Clamp Enclosures, they are constructed as a modular system and can be fitted with clamps and cable screw connections and are used as a junction enclosure for electric cables and wires. The control enclosure has the function to protect the highly sensitive electronics against water, dirt and dust. They are frequently used as enclosure for voltage sensors in the measurement and control technique. The production is carried out in pressure casting or die-casting. All enclosures comply with the protection class IP 66 according to DIN 40050 (spray water protected). The standard colour of the enclosure is RAL 7001. The lid screws cannot be lost and are made of stainless steel. The mounting of the enclosure is completed outside the sealed area using separate mounting grooves. The Neoprene lid seal is resistant against oil and petroleum, special seals such as silicone are available when requested.
