The machine base of the SIGNUM BlueLine consists of a massive granite structure, a high precise cross slide table and a stationary granite stand which holds the vertical axis. This mounting is especially insensitive adverse external temperature influences.
The mechanical bearing axes of the PRIMUS BlueLine and the SIGNUM BlueLine consist of motor driven precision slides with backlash-free ball screws. In the X and Y axis two precision slides were combined to a cross slide table.
This mechanical design grants smooth motion as well as high load capacity and stiffness even with higher traversing speeds. For the use on the shop floor both the PRIMUS BlueLine and the SIGNUM BlueLine can be equipped with an machine enclosure.
