DAT - Series Taps were specifically designed to overcome the major difficulties of taps: oversizing and chip control. An all - new approach to these limitation also provides double - action tapping -cutting with chamfered teeth, plus coil rolled forming with specially engineered shape of thread that we call DAT - Relief.
DAT - Relief reforms cut threads and controls the thrust of tap completely. Even if tapped meterials is mild steel, cutting stops within one threads!
