Open frame linear solenoid NAFSA
DESCRIPTION:
In the reversible linear solenoid the stroke is made by electromagnetic forces. The end of the stroke in one sense is the beginning in the other.
(Made according to the German norm VDE0580 and the French NFC79300).
The terms used are according to ETN technical explanations. The magnetic force values (FM) depending on the stroke are obtained in the following conditions: Ambient temperature = 35º C Coil stabilized to its work tempearture. Supply voltage 90% of the standard. Solenoid in horizontal position The effective force is obtained of the magnetic force (FM), adding or substracting the weight of the core.
- When the solenoid pulls upwards: Effective force = Magnetic force - weight of the core
- When the solenoid pulls downwards: Effective force = Magnetic force + weight of the core
- When the solenoid pulls in horizontal position: Effective force = Magnetic Force
Duty cycle calcule (ED%) = ( Energised time/ energised time+ off time) x 100
