The SX series is manufactured by Neue Herbold, and is a granulator that is especially intended for extremely high output applications. The application spectrum ranges from the size reduction of film, tangled or bunched tapes and bands, PP big bags, crates and hollow containers. There are also rotor and stator knives that are V or chevron formed counter angled to each other, which produces true scissors type cutting action. The double angle cut also reduces noise emissions and energy consumption. The unit has reduced space requirement due to compact design and has energy-saving size reduction, which has low noise level due to double-cross cutting knife configuration. The totally welded housing can also be fitted with replaceable wear plates when operating with high impact or abrasive material.
