Description
The NEUE HERBOLD FW series friction washer / friction separator is used for water separation and cleaning of regrind - like film flakes, PET- bottles flakes and other hard plastic materials.
The friction washers are mounted on an inclined frame. The material to be cleaned enters at the lower end of the friction washer with vertical inside feed. In addition, the special angular flights in conjunction with the high rpm of the shaft is responsible for the transportation of the material in an inclined direction going to the top of the unit. This delivers the simultaneous execution of the washing phase.
