The RL Series of Neue Herbold Polystyrene Shredders is specifically designed for reducing the size of EPS and PUR foam. the size-reduction technique of these shredders is very different from the granulators used for plastics. This shredder operates with a cross beater rotor, but no rotor knives. This ensures that the cell structure of the material is not disturbed. The size of the granulate is based on the size of the screen hole and the distance between the cutting instruments. The RL Shredders offer high throughput rates and an excellent final product. Knifeless operation means low wear and tear, with resultant low maintenance costs.
