Conti FB Pilot plants are extremely flexible systems of various sizes which allow testing of all continuous fluidized bed processes and of almost any product: • Drying and Cooling of bulk materials • Agglomeration of powdery substances • Spray Granulation for shaping liquids • Coating for product refinement • Microencapsulation of active ingredients The adaptation of a multitude of process parameters allows to develop products with precisely defined properties. Reproducible procedures ensure a scale-up to production conditions. Neuhaus Neotec Conti FB pilot plants are used by demanding lines such as the food industry, the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology. Design details • Continuous operating mode • Throughput capacities from 5-50kg/h • Nozzles in each zone, height adjustable • Removable nozzles, also during the process • Product weirs for sectional division • Vibration for fluidization of difficult / sticky products • Inflow velocity from 0.3 to 2 m/s • Supply air temperature up to 180 °C • Humidification / dehumidification of supply air • Top- and Bottom-Spray
