Fuel cells cleanly and efficiently convert hydrogen or syngas streams into electrical power and heat. To enhance the portability and flexibility of fuel cell systems, these gaseous fuels are often generated onboard via hydrocarbon reforming. NexTech provides proprietary ceria-supported precious metal catalysts for steam reforming of hydrocarbons. PEMFC users can also benefit from our water-gas-shift catalyst products. Beyond ceria-based catalysts, NexTech is developing low precious metal content catalysts for catalytic partial oxidation (CPOx) and steam reforming.
