NON-CONTACT MEASUREMENTS AND DIGITAL STORING

CALIPRI Prime is based on laser light section technology. This means that a camera/laser unit in the measurement device records the flange profile of your wheelset without having to manually attach it to the wheel profile. Subsequently, if required, the inspection device software evaluates flange height (Fh), thickness (Fw) and cross dimension (qR) according to pre-set limit values. The measurement result appears on the display and can be securely transferred via USB cable. Additional functions, such as highlighting exceeded limits in color or an upgrade for hollow tread, rollover and wheel width measurements, are available as add-ons.

CALIPRI Prime ensures user-independent measured values in the micrometer range when inspecting flange wear. Errors in attaching the device or reading the measured values, as with wheel profile wear gages or templates, are a thing of the past. The compact measurement device sits comfortably on your belt and is always available for measurement operations in the pit or on the rails. Depending on your factory specifications, your employees can either manually copy the measured values into an inspection report or securely transfer them via USB cable.
