Shotblasting glass ball
NICOLIS
Method of manufacture:
When melted under a high temperature, high quality glass fragments take up the shape of glass beads as a result of surface tension.
Main use:
Cleaning moulds, precision blasting surfaces where the minimum amount of base material has to be removed, stainless steel fabrications, surface compaction of light metals, de-flashing plastic components.
Used in:
Compressed air systems with blast medium recovery.
Base material:
Hardened soda glass.
Crushed Glass
Method of manufacture:
Chemically inert, sharp crushed glass made from sheet glass
