Almost every designer choice is possible thanks to the micro-connectors series CMM320 and CMM340. This type of interconnect system completes an existing range of products from NICOMATIC with a 3-row design.

The series offers the widest possible mixed layout choice present on the marketplace today. CMM320 offers up to 20 special contacts (HP or HF series 30) in one connector. The CMM 340 offers up to 64 special contacts (HP or HF series 22). Coaxial contacts allow speed signals up to 10GBit. High frequency, high power (up to 20 Amp) and low configurations in the environment of a 3-row connector can be mixed in many ways. The performance is that of a CMM220, a proven and successful product originally developed in 1997.

The CMM series has been used in areas as diverse as aerospace, instrumentation and control, head-up cockpit displays, aircraft engine control FADECs and military radio systems. The connectors have built-in screwjacks for extreme vibration resistance and encompass a range of other options including polarisation, PCB fixing hardware and UL94V0 rated plastic backshells for applications ranging from wire-to-wire and wire-to-equipment through to surface mount or press-fit on PCBs.
