DSP-420 is an enhanced industrial Man Machine Interface allowing to display data on 4 rows of 20 characters each, to scan a professional keyboard matrix (up to 56-Keys), to drive 2 inputs (opto-isolated) and 8 outputs (4 LEDs, 3 open drain outputs and a bipper). This LCD STN transfective display is supplied with a LEDs backlight (green / yellow). The displayed data are readable in the darkness and also in full light. High characters (9.22 mm) allow to read the display at the distance of several meters. The DSP-420 professional power supply is a regulated 5V and an optional DC/DC industrial converter allows a power supply from 10 to 34V. The Inputs / Outputs are protected and a watchdog function provides a right power on in case of power supply defaults. The 4 wires RS232 interface allows to control the data exchanges between the host and the display module. The use of an optional RS232-TCP/IP converter is possible to connect the DSP-420 to Ethernet network. An efficient command set is implemented to supervise the display resources. Long range temperature version for the DSP-420 is also available.
