SmCo magnets is composed of Samarium, Cobalt and other rare-earth material. It can operate at temperatures up to 350 degrees centigrade. It no need to be coated becasue it is difficult to be eroded and oxidized. This material is extremely brittle,hard to machine, and should be handed with care to avoid chipping and cracking.
Smco magnets is widely applicationed in Stepper, DC,servo, linear motors, magnetic bearings, magnetic couplings, loudspeaker, headphones, microphones and so on.
