Motionnet® is a super high-speed serial communication system that offers system engineers cost and wiring savings as well as flexibility on versatile automation applications, especially on those with distributed motion control requirements.
System Configuration
- Motionnet® consists of four different G9000 series chips and provides up to 20Mbps on communication speed supporting all I/O controls and motion controls for factory automation applications
- It also provides data communication for CPU emulation and messaging
Board Level Networks
Nippon Pulse America offers Motionnet® master board solutions for easy installation and convenience. Basic boards directly transfer data between the host and slaves without any operation in between. Advanced masters are equipped with a processor that is used to interpret commands from the host to slaves and/or provides feedback results from salves to host.
Design Features
- Motionnet® local modules provide three categories of slaves: one for motion control, another for digital I/O, and another for miscellaneous functions
- Motionnet® provides customer motion control modules that can be used together with either servo driver/motor or stepping driver/motor from different vendor
