Automatic analysers for the control of solvent recovery plants. These multi-line VOC analysers can be used and integrated to check the different operating phases of any solvent recovery plant. Applications The Scorpio3000 system is suitable for the control of recovery plants with “steam stripping”. The Taurus4000 system is suitable for the control of recovery plants with "inert gas stripping". Benefit Taurus4000 is the only system capable of monitoring the solvent concentration during the stripping phase of the absorbers. Taurus and Scorpio outstands long-term analytical stability. The systems features loop sampling instead of continuous flow capillaries, this grants less maintenance and lower running costs. Exclusive sampling valve (no moving mechanical parts), sample gas suction system by ejector (no maintenance) instead of the classic pumps, hydrogen for chromatography as the only technical gas needed. Our systems are equipped with an integrated PC (PC Embedded) and Windows® operating system. Points of analysis A sampling point can be used to monitor the solvent concentration entering the recovery plant. Various other points can be used to monitor the concentration outgoing from the absorbers and the the general stack. Finally, other analytical points (from hot or cold streams) are available for measurements on customer request. The whole analytical system is supplied with a multiple sampling system in an electrical cabinet. Options The Scorpio and Taurus systems can be combined with accessories for the specific analysis of the LEL at the entrance to the plant (Sagittarius) or for the VOC in emission according to EN12619: 2013 (Aries).
