We have manufactured and supplied: 72.5 kV XLPE cables since 1973 145 kV XLPE cables since 1979 245 kV XLPE cables since 1990 420 kV XLPE cables since 1996 520 kV XLPE cables sinde 2007 During the period from 1973 to 2001 we have manufactured and supplied a total of approx. 5,000 km of XLPE cables. The XLPE cables have been supplied to both Danish and foreign plants and they have all been functioning successfully since commissioning. Besides being a cable supplier nkt cables has developed a broad and varied range of accessories, partly based on own development and partly in cooperation with other companies. nkt cables' capability within cable manufacturing spreads from selection of incoming raw materials via technical design and projecting to final installation.
