The converter allows attaching Modbus RTU RS-232 and RS-485 devices in Ethernet. The converter acts as a ModbusTCP/RTU gateway, providing access to the serial devices using the standard Modbus RTU protocol. Up to 32 devices can be connected in the RS-485 bus as long as each of them uses a different serial bus address. Up to five simultaneous TCP connections can be open.

The settings are configured using a web browser. The IP address can be entered manually or using DHCP. The settings can be protected with a password.
