NON CORROSIVE LUMINAIRES RANGE The Tinak range consists of 18W, 36W and 58W single and twin lamps fully enclosed non corrosive luminaires. APPLICATIONS Humid and dusty areas i.e. workshops, laboratories, loading bays, food processing plants and all other locations where there is a presence of corrosive vapours. CONSTRUCTION The body is made from high impact injection moulded thermoresistant acrylic or polycarbonate. The diffuser is made of clear injection moulded acrylic with internal prisms to improve the light distribution. The diffuser is hinged to the body to facilitate lamp changing. Gasket is injected into the body forming a continous and effective seal. The white prepainted steel gear tray is retained by quick release toggle clips, Nylon suspention straps are supplied to retain the gear tray and facilitate the installation. ELECTRICAL Control gear is switch start as standard. All control gears are rated 230V or 240V 50 Hz. A three way terminal block is provided, high temperture PVC insulated wiring is used throughout. MECHANICAL Cable entry is via a 20mm grommeted entry hole at one end and a 20mm knock out at the other end, alternatively cables can enter through either of the two conduit entry points in the rear of the luminaire body. Recessed suspention lugs are fitted to the luminaire bodies for chain suspention. Luminaires can also be fixed directly to the mounting surface via screws or suspended on conduit via the reinforced 20mm conduit entries provided in the rear of the luminaire.
