The NCS X-PRESS is a reinforced X-CONVEYOR with a compaction and dewatering head at the discharge end. Fitted in the head is also a washing system that cleans the solids from organics. Transportation, washing and dewatering in one compact, affordable unit.

Wet solids are conveyed by a shaft less one-bearing spiral into the press zone, which is a barrel shaped basket made from wedge wire. Very strong and with a large perforated area it is optimal for dewatering. The press zone is lined with nozzles to wash organics out of the material. The spiral and basket stops short of the outlet point by a few decimeters so that a plug of solids can be formed.
