Bimetal bandsaw blades in M42 are available in two versions: the product STEELBAND STB8, known and appreciated from the market since many years, blade that makes the reliability and continuity of services its strong point, made by HSS AISI M42 alloy 8% Cobalt (Co), blade body consisting of a steel-related Chromium (Cr) which ensures an optimal balance between flexibility, resistance to fatigue, resistance to twisting and pulling.
Peculiar heat treatments, the result of over 30 years of experience in production, producing a metal structure with an uniform distribution of grain carbide regular and uniform, providing a martensitic structure able to give to the product an high hardness and excellent resistance (resilience).
The STB8 PRO product, a variant of STB8 in terms of tooth geometry and setting, mostly indicated in dimensions up to 27 mm for those who need a blade for cutting of different sections (small rod and profiles) without big serial production and with manual machines using an universal unique blade. From 34 mm up to 80 blades are studied for high production application for cutting profiles or tubes or beam material and they present particular devices acts to delay tooth break and to avoid that blade progress is slowed during the cut.
The range of bandsaw blades is enriched with a full and complete range of hard metal: 4 qualities, specific for each different use, that ensure high productivity and high level performance for cutting.
