This is a wheel with an electro-conducted metal base to which abrasive gains are sprayed and held by electric plating. Since the abrasive grains of this wheel project well. it is used for rough grinding and efficient grinding as it has high a grinding performance. High accuracy electro plated wheels are used for precision grinding.
An electro plated wheel utilizes transcription technology to allow various combinations of electro plated areas, pattern, plating types, embedding ratios and others. Thanks to the low grinding resistance this wheel is suitable for rough grinding, finish grinding with a large surface contact area, and precision grinding with a fine abrasive grain wheel. Good cutting ability brings about high productivity.
