TLH transducers are designedfor the direct, accurate measurement of displacement orlength in control, regulationand measuring applications.The rodless design utilizes amagnetically-restrained stainless steel band to cover theopening through which theactuator operates. Thus, theactuator is driven from theside, along the unit length.This allows the transducer tobe shorter, and permits strokelengths up to 3000 mm.A ball coupling limits parallel orangular drive forces from beingtransmitted to the sensorbearings.The TLH series is designedfor use with mounting clampswhich simplifies installationand adjustment.
Due to the design and theselected materials the temperature coefficient of the transducer is extremely small.Careful attention to detail andchoice of materials has resulted in a transducer with anextremely low drift due totemperature.The robust design ensuresreliable operation even underharsh environmental conditionssuch as vibration ortemperature changes.
